THE FTT-WOP PROJECT
Pakistan’s petroleum demand is predominantly concentrated in the northern regions, while major import terminals are located in the south. Although pipeline infrastructure currently extends up to Machike, fuel transportation beyond this point relies heavily on road tankers, resulting in higher logistics costs, congestion, safety risks, and environmental exposure.
The Faisalabad–Thallian–Taru Jabba White Oil Pipeline (FTT-WOP) is an approximately 437-kilometer strategic pipeline project designed to bridge this critical infrastructure gap. The project will extend the existing white oil pipeline network from Faisalabad to Taru Jabba, enabling seamless pipeline connectivity toward key northern consumption centers.
By completing this missing link in the national petroleum supply chain, the FTT-WOP will enhance energy security, improve operational efficiency, reduce road tanker dependency, and promote safer, environmentally responsible fuel transportation across Pakistan.
